D*C*C* is specializing in offering owners several surface treatment solutions regards to onboard maintenance (voyage repairs) on ships and oilrigs. This in order for owner to save serious off-hire costs and allowing production from vessel or rig to continue undisturbed.

Certain projects must/can be carried out alongside or in dock due to short voyages, and thanks to our business partners, we can now offer more than 400 mtrs. of quay in the Gdansk/Gdynia area in Poland if alongside repairs will be required including all UTM/NDT and mechanical jobs/items as well.
We are also capable of offering dry dock and/or floating dock undertaking full repair scheme.
Meassurements: Dry dock 288 x 40 mtrs, floating dock 155,5 x 24,5 mtrs.

Spot repairs:

In order to achieve a chloride free surface and allowing our crew to work efficiently at sea, DCC uses
sandwashing equipment as the primary tool for surface preparation. This is coupled with high pressure washing and power tools. We normally prepare the surface to be painted to a WB 1 ½ to 2 standard, allowing a professional application of modified epoxy coating system as specified by the ship owner/management.


Larger areas:

D*C*C also offers blasting by means of UHP (Ultra High pressure water-jetting) 2000-3000 bar, which is perfect repair method for larger full scale areas, also including stainless steel cargo tanks and pipes internal, all of course to a very competitive price.


Cargo tank repairs:
Coated cargo tanks require
conventional sandblasting in order to achieve the best surface for zinc silicate or phenolic epoxies, which is why we also have conventional sandblasting in our offers for onboard maintenance.
